The sub is good! I wish ı tried to hot sub like chicken one. Because affet ı order I saw someone eat and I really wanted to try! The ambience is very otantic but not comfortable at all! Veeery tight tables!...And looks little something... Service was ok. The cashier lady was nice! And she was repeating same sentences for years! And the one of most interesting thing was here Frank Sinatra's towel! No you didn't mishear! His last shows town at AC was on the wall! See the picture of it! I can try a few more sub here for sure.

This place is awesome. Been here forever, 1946 I believe. Looks like an old dinner and the inside is the same. There are some small booths to eat in. If you're in eating in, you grab a table and a waitress will take your order. You can also takeout as well. Our server was super nice and the sandwiches came out quick. The whole is basically two sandwiches so make sure your bring your appetite. The steak and the Italian were delicious and again huge portions. There are plenty of pics of the famous people that have come over the years. I will definitely be back. Awesome spot

I was at a friend's place close by the Atlantic City area this weekend, and why not try a real Philly Cheesesteak? (I've never had one before) White House offers everyone a nationally renown sandwich like no other! This Atlantic City staple will have you waiting in line for at least 40 minutes but once you're sitting at the table, you will enjoy your sandwich like never before. The subs are delivered across the country but went around Atlantic City and in the mood for a fresh option, go to White House. there's also one found inside the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City. Casual deliciousness you will enjoy! A++

Well for starters Ms this place has been in business since 1947 so it has deep roots in the ac community... Inside it's small but perfect, many take to go items as we did. I ordered a cheesecake which I got just cheese and meet (provolone) as you can see in the pics they put the bread (mine was a half and more than enough ) on top of the cooking meet. The bread is a perfect combo of soft and crispy far superior to Philadelphias cheesesteak rolls...I'd say next time I go just as my preference I might ask for extra cheese or maybe even a mix of American with the provolone but regardless it was well worth the 11 dollars. I also loved watching them make the food right in front of you and I particularly noticed how good the burgers looked so I will hopefully visit again to try a burger... On the walls you will find a lot of history, pics of Sinatra visiting I noticed and also a very old newspaper article titles" 1,000 subs a day" it's clearly a part of the community and I highly recommend it

Arrived at 3pm on a Sunday. Great time to stop by! No long line. We sat at the counter bar and greeted quickly. Cashier was great! She was polite and shared the history of White House. Server was kind and quickly took our order. We were able to watch the cooks create our delicious subs. Ordered a whole cheesesteak and whole Italian sub. The bread was soft and crispy on top. The cheesesteak was outstanding! The beef was juicy. I believe they marinate the steak. The sub was very good! Lots of meat and the provolone was on point. Their subs are massive! Although it's a bit pricey, you will definitely have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch! Give this classic sub shop a try!

We take our Italian subs to the Brigantine Beaches.........best in the US east. Turkey sub and Italian were both good. Not a big meat eater. So for me to say Turkey was outta sight is sayin' something The Italian meats are thinly sliced and perfect for a USWA (United steel workers of America )up 30 stories - 7 in the morning and needing 2000 calories in a clip. Lots of FAT! Watch out they overload the mayo into a MESSSSSSSSS! Get it on the side. Cooooooool history! America's favorite and oldest sub shop that will NEVER be on 3D.

When in AC NJ, you've gotta' go to White House Subs! #iykyk Enjoyed the spot twice this week. Cheesesteak on Tuesday, Italian sub on Friday. I really want to call them hoagies! Good atmosphere. Tough parking, be patient and circle the block a few times to find a spot. Wear washable clothes - you will leave smelling like a hoagie. Friendly employees. Clean bathroom. Eat-in or takeout. Reasonable prices. They accept credit cards (now, post-Covid). Flavorful ingredients on Formica Freitag bakery rolls. You can buy the bread from the bakery across the street. Dynamite combination. Yup, I'm going back. Each and every trip to AC.

Ok - they got me! I've been waiting to check this off the list for about a year now. It was well worth the wait!! The service was extremely orderly and friendly. The food - OMG delicious (both the Italian Special and a Cheesesteak) - and the large hoagies were huge. Each half came split in two pieces, each piece close to 6", so yeah - an almost 2' hoagie! The Classic was delicious, as expected and the cheesesteak had great flavor overall. The roll was hard, more firm than hard, but baguette-like and held the sandwiches together perfectly. If you have a chance to stop into The White House, do! Do, and do!

Came to Atlantic City for pre 4th of July celebration en route NY. Came out looking for a brunch and /or breakfast place, and while out cruising came across White House subs with a sizeable line outside. I figured a local spot with a line....hmmmm, let's check it out. No disappointment here...the Turkey sub was absolutely amazing. One half could have easily felt b two people and not knowing I ordered a whole sub. Let's just say, don't have to worry about dinner... Overall, the sandwich was great, fresh with Italian sub roll. Being a first-time visitor, I did not know that if you plan to eat inside, do not place your order until you check on with the person at the front window. If not, the assumption is that you are ordering your food to go, and trust me, you want to enjoy your sandwich while there to enjoy the sandwich and the ambiance of the local banter.
